The Wallowa’s

We love Oregon’s small towns – they’re charming, welcoming, and each has something unique to offer.

The pretty little town of Joseph sits right at the foot of the stunning Wallowa Mountains and is at the southern edge of the three valleys of the Wallowa River. It is the cultural and tourism center of northeastern Oregon, and the striking beauty of the town’s natural surroundings lent it the nickname Little Switzerland of America. It is also one of our favorite places to go as there are endless photo opportunities. This particular trip we joined several of our fellow photographers for a 3 day photo journey and the following is what we felt really showed the area well.
